Buy onlineBorn in Pembrokeshire in 1960, Huw Richards Evans studied fine art at Bristol Polytechnic, where he gained his degree. He has worked in the creative industry since then, including lecturing in both Fine Art and Fashion Design. Huw became a full-time professional artist in 2014 and his work is currently available to purchase from Hidden Gallery (Clifton, Bristol), Etcetera Gallery (St. Davids, Pembrokeshire) and Oriel Coffi (Llanidloes, Powys). Huw also paints many commissions and has had a range of interesting clients, including ITV’s Broadchurch and Bristol University. Often textural and with a spiritual quality, his paintings contain drama, passion and energy. For Huw, the painting process is one of great personal joy.
His landscapes have attracted collectors from as far afield as the USA and Japan, and he is a regular exhibitor in the UK. Huw is also well known as a couture fashion designer.
Huw has kindly donated paintings for our Fundraising Exhibition
