Mark Hayward is an award winning photographer, noted for his atmospheric and haunting shots of the British landscape.

“I was raised just outside the New Forest and have a lifelong fascination with Trees, nature, ancient monuments and ghost stories, and I try to capture the special atmosphere that I feel is unique to the British countryside.

Since moving to the beautiful village of Stanton Drew tucked away in the Somerset hills I’m lucky enough to live  minutes away from the second largest stone circle in the UK and these ancient monoliths provide a constant source of inspiration both in life and for my art.
