Anibow Print – Rosie Webb
A2 – £75
A3 – £40
This ‘Anibow’ print was painted over 10 days during the Coronavirus lockdown. Subconsciously inspired by Rosie’s own family life, animals in all the colours of the rainbow are squashed in happily together with only the occasional near collision. Originally intended to represent how life would be after lockdown when we are all together again, it actually also represents how lockdown feels when you are all at home and that there is also joy to be found here.
This print is available in A3 and A2 and comes with a list of all the animals so you can have fun spotting them all and maybe even learn the names of a few new birds or insects.
Rosie Webb worked for several years in London as a freelance editorial illustrator before moving back to Bristol on the same day that room 212 first opened its doors. Since then she has self published two children’s books ‘The Cockatoos Shoes’ and ‘Chimpanzees in Dungarees’ which have become must haves for all Bristol kids learning to count and read.
Rosie injects large doses of humour into her expressive watercolour illustrations of animals wearing shoes or other accessories. Rhyme is used entertain and encourage children to think about words.
Alongside her books Rosie also sells fine art Giclee prints and greetings cards. These have a broad appeal to all ages. If you like your flamingos to be wearing DMs or your blue tits in bowler hats then look no further.
