During Lockdown we have enjoyed showcasing the amazing paintings of Bristol artist Emma Catherine

Since the beginning of 2021 Emma’s various Moon paintings have shone out of our window, enchanting everyone passing by on Gloucester Road. Each original Moon is painted in oils onto a giant 100cm canvas. The Moons are highlighted in a variety of gold, copper and silver leaf, giving a gorgeous glow and luminosity.

The first Super Moon to appear in our window was snapped up by local opticians Lunar Optical and is now proudly displayed in their waiting area.  Another customer commissioned one that same week.  Following this we’ve had a Spring Moon and a Silver Moon. Emma is now working on a giant, opulent flower & moon painting for us in time for Mothers Day (the first one she painted sold before it made it to our gallery!)
