Exhibitions post

We maximise on our lovely large windows to create quirky, colourful displays tying in with the time of the year, a special occasion or Bristol event such as the Harbourside Fesitval or Balloon fiesta.  Sometimes we’ve really gone to town, such as the audio visual ‘Love’ theme for Window Wanderland and Enchanted Forest for Christmas when the entire shop front was covered in living plants.  These themes give plenty of creative inspiration for artists and visitors alike.

The wide pavement in front is used as an extension to the gallery with browsers of prints, decoupaged furniture and planters full of flowers. We use this area to offer free workshops and creative activities or offer it to local community groups such as the Bishopston Garden Society or the Bristol Pound. We are also planning some creative workshops round the back in the 212 Eco House garden.

We organise festivals and events with our neighbouring traders and community groups, such as the North Bristol Art Trail, Glos Rd Central Mayfest and the Gloucester Road Art Banners project.
