The Glos Rd Central Mayfest, our annual community fair, is on Saturday May 4th. This immensely popular event takes place outside all the shops businesses on our section of Gloucester Road. A highlight of the day is the arrival of the Jack in the Green procession at 3.30pm but there’s lots going on before and after.

We will have needlefelter Elaine Jones of Castor Creations outside our shop, helping you to create lovely felted hearts. If you enjoy this drop-in activity you may like to sign up to the longer workshop taking place at Alchemy 198 on June 1st

Sukhdeep of Henna Bristol will be based at Alchemy 198 so join her if you fancy a beautiful henna design on your hand or arm

There will also be facepainting using eco glitter, cocktails and Pimms and live music from an array of local bands and choirs.
