Julia Voke
“Julia has been following her art interests for about 5 years now and her main medium for creating the artwork is needle felting. A barbed needle is used to stab felting wool to make 2D and 3D images. She is inspired by her love of the sea and the outdoors, and her artwork is developing to include other media such as papier mache and items she finds on the beaches of Pembrokeshire and Devon.
She uses photos of favourite views, both rural and of Bristol, to inspire her work, and can also take commissions and run workshops.”
