Women are hallowed creatures in John?s eyes, filled with beauty and holders of great strength and compassion.

Sometimes in life that beauty can be crushed, by challenge and adversity and John has a special talent for restoring a woman's confidence, self esteem and love for herself. Over several sessions John works with his clients to gain an understanding of who they are.

John is enquiring, he is challenging, his questions are thought provoking and start a process of self enquiry.

At all times though John is a keeper of confidence. He is trustworthy and mindful of his client?s boundaries.

Working with John starts with a free initial consultation to establish his client?s needs and to work with a few ideas. After this interviews and or one or two photo sessions are arranged. The photo sessions are fun, enlightening and designed to break down barriers to show the real woman. All photos are shared with the client after.

The purpose of these sessions is not to produce glamorous pictures, but to capture the essence of the sitter and to be used to produce the final painting. Further sessions can follow at a reasonable cost, as well as dream interpretation consultations.

Once John and his client are happy with the pictures and the journey, the painting ensues.

This is where the magic really starts!

John uses the ideas discussed and combines them with magical symbolism, the language of flowers and Romany folklore.

The story unfolds and John will include personal belongings and jewellery to make each painting truly unique.

John has an amazing talent for painting the female figure; he is an expert at painting skin, hair and material folds.

The finished painting takes on a life of its own and combines the essence of woman and the soul of the painter.

Initial Consultation: Free

Full interview session, which will be very relaxed and where ever you wish it to take place. This may be funny, you may laugh, scream or may even cry, but it's totally discrete, as is everything you undertake with John. Cost: ?50*

Photo session, this again will take place wherever you feel safe and will consist of as much time as you need. John will take a variety of pictures but include lots of fun and laughter. Please choose your favourite clothes and a range of outfits selected by you. The scene may be period, raunchy or nude, the flavour for the session will always be determined by the sitter. Cost: ?50*

Specialist photo session which will be aimed around the pose ideas we did in the general shoot, aiming to find the right pose or scenerio for the painting. Cost: ?50*

Remember the photos we take do not require specialist lighting, just a decent camera and you may have them all copied onto disc for you to keep and use as you like.The photos are purely the basis for the painting that is created, so the background and settings are not important. John?s skill and imagination takes the place of stage setting and scenery.

These sessions are designed to build confidence and trust and to make you feel fantastic, reminding you of who you naturally are. You may dance sing laugh scream, run about be daft, be as daring as you like, reveal what you like, the important thing is that you allowed to be YOU, with no repercussions from anyone. John is a professional, nothing shocks no-one is judged. What unfolds stays between artist and sitter.

* The charges for these sessions DO NOT cover travelling costs.

They are however then deducted from the painting price if you decide to have a painting produced.

e.g 3 completed sessions = ?150 off the painting price.

Paintings can be paid for in 3 regular installments if required.
