Kate has recently returned to creative painting, choosing acrylic for this show. She is inspired by kinetic energy and her current work explores the force of power between constraint and free expression.

"I find the tension between control and chaos infinitely challenging and something I'm very conscious of in these pieces".

Kate?s work is predominantly abstract and draws on influences from the natural world as well as her travels abroad, where colour has influenced much of her composition.
