Kate Gardiner

Screen prints

I am a writer and artist living and working in Bristol. I have an MA in Creative Writing and initially turned towards screen printing as a means of creating text-based images. Instead I was drawn towards my eclectic collection of vintage fabrics and illustrations for inspiration. I have always had a passion for fashion and fabric design and enjoy the thrill of finding a rare or beautiful piece. This collection of screen and mono prints is inspired by these interests. I am a regular participant at Spike Print Studio and also currently volunteer at the Grant Bradley Gallery.
