All of Laura's work stems from her love of line drawing, which is often created on location. Laura interprets her drawings using stitch, and enjoys incorporating other processes such as screen-printing and by using the embellisher technique.

Recycling and using low cost materials is a key feature within Laura's work, manipulating the materials to enhance the quality. As well as the imagery used, crossing the boundaries of both stitch and print gives Laura's work originality and character.

Each piece is exciting not just for the viewer, but also for Laura whilst creating each one.
