Inspired by the secrets of the animal kingdom, trials of young hearts, and forgotten innocence, Claire Louise creates colourful lost worlds inside her acrylic and gouache paintings.

Her work has been exhibited across Bristol, London, and as far away as Wellington, New Zealand, where a wearable piece won an international competition by Air New Zealand, judged by Norman Rosenthal (Exhibitions Secretary of the Royal Academy,) V&A curator Sonnet Stanfill, and fashion designer Zhandra Rhodes.

Blueprint Magazine has described Claire Louise's work as "fantastical" and "a surreal comment on lost idealism."
