Small, hand built raku fired pots and small sculptures decorated in turquoise, gold and white crackle glazes.

I like the surprises, risks and uncertainties involved in working with clay and the firing processes. The round clay shapes are something I have repeated a lot and some turned into pots.

My first art training was in animation, I went on to work as an animator and illustrator. In 2001 I completed a post graduate diploma in art therapy and now work with children, in schools, and with adults living with cancer. With Caroline Hayles, I run one day art workshops offering a variety of media and encouragement in a spacious and supportive environment.These days are for anyone from complete beginners to experienced artists and take place near Street on the edge of the Somerset levels. e mail for more details.
